End of Summer 2016 program

11752139_864627430271503_51663821107537936_nThis August and September, we will be offering our annual farm education program designed to bridge the gap between “end of summer “ and “start of school”. This is engineered to offer programming to children who may have a later start to school, but are not ready for the fun of summer to end. We will be working with a host of 5-7 teachers who will bring their personal expertise in a variety of topics including: wool processing and crafts, knitting, focused art lessons, food and earth science, culinary arts, farming, and animal husbandry.

This program is offered to 5-12 year old children. The dates and times are listed below. Children can be enrolled for specific days or the entire program length. All registration and payment must be received by Monday August 22, 2016.

Children 13 years or older, who are interested and willing to be assistants, can register as “volunteers” to help assist with this program. This will be on an as needed basis dependent on enrollment number of campers. Please email or inquire directly by phone with questions.

Times: All program days run from 9-3:30. Drop off at 8:30 can be arranged for working parents who require an earlier start. Please speak with Stephanie at time of registration. Children should bring their own snack, lunch, and water bottle each day. No food will be offered or provided by Field House Farm.
