Next Field to Table Dinner is August 3

Please join us on Friday, August 3, 2018 for a four to five course Field House Farm dinner with Chef David Borselle. As always, there will be complimentary wine pairing to each course as well as exclusive and delicious desserts by hen&heifer bakery in Guilford.

Get a group of friends or just come as a couple…either way, we would love to have you. This dinner will be held outside, under the tent.

All dietary restrictions can be accommodated, including vegetarians, if notice given at time of reservation.

On Friday, May 4, 2018 at 6PM, Field House Farm is happy to welcome back a popular guest chef to our farm kitchen for a spectacular farm fresh winter feast.

Chef Jesse Powers will be joining us from the acclaimed On20 Restaurant in downtown Hartford. As a Connecticut native, Jesse is inspired by our local harvest and strives to utilize all that Connecticut farms have to offer. His past culinary adventures include cooking at The Copper Beech Inn in Ivoryton and Millwright’s in Simsbury.

As always, special dietary requests can be accommodated if noted at time of reservation. All desserts will be provided by hen&heifer in Guilford.

Three great cooking classes with Maya Bradstreet

We’re happy to announce two new cooking classes are being offered in our farm kitchen by Maya F. Bradstreet, from A Recipe for Wellness.

The first is a class for kids ten and over. Kids Clean Plate Club is the next installment of healthy, delicious & kids-friendly cooking classes to celebrate the beginning of Spring! Learn more.

“Cooking Around the World” with Taylor Greenberg

Got a teenager or young adult who loves to cook? Do they need instruction on cooking safety and cooking basics? Do they have a desire to learn new recipes and cooking styles?

This is the program for them!! Field House Farm invites children and young adults over 10 years old to our farm kitchen for “Cooking Around the World” with Taylor Greenberg. Taylor is author of local blog “The Little Chef that Could” and has held many wonderful classes in our farm kitchen. This program will focus on a different region and style of cooking on each date. The participants will leave with basic food prep skills, understanding of knife and oven/stove safety, as well as unique international recipes for them to share with their family and friends. Each class will include dinner for the group. Class size will be limited, so if interested, please enroll soon. Please note any allergies at time of registration. Join us for one class or all five! $35 per person per class.

Dates : Thursday March 15, Thursday March 29, Thursday April 5,  Thursday April 12, and Thursday April 19. All classes 4-6pm
